About Presentation

In this presentation Matt will outline the key principles of an innovative and contemporary approach to leadership: the social identity perspective. Matt will discuss the idea that leadership that creates a strong sense of togetherness is fundamental for athletes’ engagement and motivation, communication and co-ordination, and performance and well-being. He’ll conclude by offering some suggestions for how coaches can develop a shared team identity and truly unlock their team’s togetherness.
